Following the tremendous success of last year’s inaugural event, the National Claims Charity 5-a-Side Football Tournament is returning on Thursday, July 18th, 2024 at Powerleague Manchester Central Club. This year’s tournament promises to be even bigger and better, with more teams, more fun, and a greater impact on the lives of those facing housing challenges.
Play for a Purpose
Partnering with Shelter, the UK’s leading housing charity, the tournament aims to raise awareness and funds to combat homelessness and support those living in unfit housing conditions. By participating, you’ll be making a real difference in the lives of individuals and families struggling with housing insecurity.
A Day Filled with Fun and Festivities
The tournament day will kick off at 11 am with teams of 5 (plus 2 optional subs) battling it out on the pitch. But the excitement doesn’t end there!
- Award Ceremony: Trophies will be awarded to the winners, runners-up, and standout players.
- Special Guests: The event will feature appearances from special guests.
- Food and Drinks: Enjoy delicious food and drinks throughout the day and evening.
